It is a little late to give this post a St. Patrick’s day title… I am a little behind on my blogging. This has been a baby boom month in Saskatchewan and I am still trying to catch up. I hope you enjoy these sweet pics of this lovely little lady. Mom and Dad had lots of great ideas. I especially love it when the dads get into it too. I have to admit I chuckled when Dad pulled out the St. Patrick’s day tutu and headband… love it… very appropriate with tiny Macie being born just before St. Patrick’s Day. I was a little overwhelmed when the giant bear came through the door. I am thinking, “how on earth am I going to incorporate this into the shoot?” But suddenly it came to me… why not do a composite photo of this huge bear holding the tiny baby? Then in the future, Macie can be photographed at different ages and stages beside her bear… a “watch me grow” sort of series. This photo is actually a composite of three photos with mom and dad taking turns holding baby and the bear’s arms to support her on either side and then a third photo of the bear’s hands clasped with no baby. Tricky, but with great help from mom and dad, we were able to pull it off. I would love to hear what you think of our efforts in the comment section below…. and also, please send Baby Macie and her mom and dad some love if you know and love them. Enjoy!
