It feels like forever that I have been waiting for the opportunity to photograph newborn twins. These gorgeous little men have got to be identical… their little faces are just so similar. If it weren’t for Carter being longer than Riley, you would struggle to tell them apart. Carter and Riley were born at 33 weeks. The came for their newborn shoot when they were over 7 weeks old, just past their due date. It was a blessing that we were able to get them to sleep together at the same time for a few of these shots. It was not an easy shoot, but it was so worth it, to capture these images for mom and dad. What a wonderful memory these will be. My best made plans for all sorts of poses didn’t quite work. As a newborn photographer, you start your shoot with images in your head that you want to capture, but at the end of the day, the little ones decide what it is going to be. Thankfully, these little men were willing to curl up together for a few great photographs. Thank you Mom and Dad and Auntie Cathy for all your help and patience with me. “More hands make light work” my grandmother used to always say. And this was sure true for our session. I couldn’t have done it without your help. I so appreciate it. Enjoy these sweet images of these two handsome little men!
