So I love illiterations… at least I think that is what they are called. Its been a long time since Mrs. Delong’s high school English class… It was a joyful January for this beautiful family. Little Cole was born while my family was away for a month, so I was unable to capture the really early, sleepy shots. I warned Mom that his photos would probably all be wide awake and throwing his little arms and stretching out his little legs all over the place, not to mention crossing eyes… the challenges of awake newborns. She was willing to take the risk… and I am I ever glad she did. Cole was one day past 3 weeks of age in these photos. What a cutie! You have to love those little wrinkles in his forehead! I think it was worth the drive to Moose Jaw… don’t you?
Cole was so cooperative in this photo shoot… a real little pleasure to work with. Oh, yes and mommy and daddy were too. I told Mom and Dad that I think he is going to be a very intelligent young man. He was so awake and inquisitive at such a young age. He wasn’t missing a thing through our 3 hour shoot! I don’t normally even try for photos at this age, because they are so difficult. We decided to stick with a single background and primarily do shots with Mom or Dad holding him and his sweet little legs curled up. We tried for the blanket shots, but he was too interested in getting ready to walk and crawl. There was no keeping his arms in our chosen positions for that set up. I think Mom and Dad are going to be chasing this little man around the house in no time. Enjoy celebrating his birth with his parents and family. Leave them some love in the comment section.
