Alice in Wonderland | Happy 5th Eden!

Happy 5th Birthday my girl!  Age 5 just makes me want to be a kid again!  No worries, no responsibilities, other than being kind to her little brother and not fighting over the ipad….LOL.  There isn’t girlfriend drama yet, your biggest issue is having to pick up barbies and my little ponies off your bedroom floor in the morning and learning to share them during playdates.  It is a time to run in fields with the wind blowing your hair… with not a care in the world. To know that God loves you and your parents adore you is enough to bring endless smiles and joy to your home.  Love this age!  Blowing bubbles, sidewalk chalk, tea parties and scooters.  Oh to be 5 years old again.  Where the biggest achievement is learning to write your name and colouring inside the lines on your Little Mermaid pictures.

With Eden’s birthday falling on the July long weekend and few friends to celebrate, we chose to party last weekend instead. God was good, the sun shone and the wind blew just enough to keep the bugs away.  Morgan had fun leading games of the Alice in Wonderland version of Duck, Duck goose…. Alice, Alice, White Rabbit (I believe). We played tag trying to catch the White Rabbit. Three sweet little bunnies joined our party for a miniature petting zoo. I can’t forget our treasure hunt for the Cheshire cat (Disney Store).  And we had a wonderful party with tea cups from Grandma Bella down the street and the Sally Ann.  Mrs. Lida Hugo, made us the most divine buttercream cupcakes and cake for the party.

Alice and Wonderland cutouts, banners, cupcake toppers, photo booth props were from this wonderful Etsy vendor.
