You may recognize this beautiful mom from a maternity shoot we did back in the winter. I am so glad that she was able to make it up to Moose Jaw with her mom and lovely little Sianna for her newborn shoot…. even if it wasn’t until she was three weeks old. I was also excited to be able to get Sianna to sleep in the moss bag that Mom had made just for her. I love to be able to incorporate important aspects of people’s lives into their shoots. These photographs are not about me… they are about you and what is important in your lives. In Crystal’s case, she really wanted to bring an important part of her heritage into her shoot with Sianna sleeping in a traditional moss bag. It would have been so nice if it had straps on it, so I could have captured babe strapped onto mom’s back as well. Maybe next time…:) Now I just need to have a little chat with the maker of these gorgeous bags so that we can make it happen!
So glad that Grandma was able to come and be apart of it all. I love capturing multi-generations with baby when the opportunity presents. Enjoy!
